Photos & Artifacts

Photos, artifacts, documents, and other ephemera have a story to tell and often act as a substitute for memory by capturing details that would otherwise be easily lost to the passage of time. Though photos cannot convey information about the past as completely as a spoken or written narrative, including images with your Story Foundry work can add dimension to the story as told by the narrator. Likewise, the photos themselves are enriched by the addition of text or voice to explain what is being depicted in the photo.

We will work closely with you to help select the perfect photos to enhance your Story Foundry work. We provide consulting on photo editing (selecting images and making decisions about size, cropping, and display), restoration, organization, and archival preservation. If desired, we can even refer you to a qualified personal organizer who will sort and categorize your personal photo archive, making it easier to recognize and appreciate the stories that emerge.
